Application Process

Many Christians are being awakened to the Biblical truth that our work matters to God for the world. The Faith & Work Collective by Beyond Business is designed to help Christians grow in this area to work as God intended… faith and work integrated.

Vision

To see Christians in the marketplace transformed by reimagining their work as a gift and mandate from God designed to bring flourishing to the world.

Mission

The Faith & Work Collective is an 8-month program in spiritual formation, professional development, and community awareness that forms Christians in the marketplace to serve God, others, and society through their daily work.

The Need

Many Christians share similar sentiments about their work…

A sense of Kingdom purposelessness

Apathy towards the brokenness within work context

Professional and relational isolation – “I don’t know any solid Christians at…”

I don’t know how to share my faith; can I trust God with my work – it’s up to me

Outcomes

Fellows come away equipped with tools to be:

Spiritually Formed: Practices spiritual disciplines that sustain a deep relationship with God in the midst of professional life.

Theologically Rooted: Able to articulate a biblical theology of work and calling.

Vocationally Integrated: Sees their work as meaningful, worship, mission-driven, and part of God’s redemptive story. Builds relationships across differences through humble, authentic love for others.

Missionally Minded: Seeks the good of others, the organization, and the broader society through their vocation.

Schedule

8 Month Schedule

Monthly Cohorts:

Meeting 2 times per month for 4 ½ hours

15-20 pages of reading (or a/v equivalent) for discussion

Debrief of self-directed formation practices

Teaching sessions

Group discussions

Retreats:

One kick-off retreat – Fri PM – Sun AM
One final graduation retreat Fri PM – Sat PM

Dates of meetings: monthly meetings 1, 3 Thursday of the month with the exception of January.

Each meeting will be 8:30 am – 1:00 pm with lunch included. January 22 is the all-day Summit 9-4.

Meet and greet: August 24

Kick off Retreat: September 19-21

Session 1: September 25

Session 2: October 2 & 16

Session 3: November 6 & 20

Session 4: December 4 & 18

Session 5: January 15 & 22* attend full day – Summit

Session 6: February 5 & 19

Session 7: March 5 & 19

Final retreat: April 17-18

Cost and Application Process

Applications are closed for the Fall 2025 semester. Please check back in early 2026 for updates.

Cost:

DETAILS:

$3,200

Deposit of $1,600 due before August 15. The remainder can be paid out over the 8 months @ $200/month. Or one additional payment of $1,600 due by January 31.

This includes all you will need to complete the program.

Two weekend retreats with food, lodging, program, rest, community
12 four- and half-hour meetings with teaching from top leaders, shared meals, connection & community, margin for the Holy Spirit
