John Houston has become a respected and successful business owner who views his multiple companies as a platform to reach people for Christ and support ministries around the world. He is the Founder and Chairman of the Board to John Houston Homes, a homebuilding company that started in 2005. Since that time, he has started additional companies which make up the Household Group, which include a mortgage company, a land-development company, a title company, an insurance company, and a marketplace ministry & discipleship company.

During his journey of building these businesses, John has stayed true to his core belief of putting God first, family second and work third. This has created a company culture and brand that is excelling at the highest level. He is a graduate of Nelson University, formally known as Southwestern Assemblies of God University with a bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration and his favorite, an associate degree in Bible. He serves on several local non-profit boards, including his alma mater, and Oaks Church.

John has been married to his beautiful wife, Tracy for over thirty years, and they are the parents of two young adult kids, Austin and Ashtyn. They live outside of Dallas and enjoy eating a great steak, spending time outdoors, and traveling on adventures together as a family.
